The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) allows its subscribers to withdraw from their Provident Fund (PF) when necessary. The employee can claim it online. The online claim requires the employee's base number to be linked to its Universal Account Number (UAN). UAN is used for depositing and withdrawing employees' PF funds.

1. First of all, the employee has to log on to EPFO's website at https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/ and enter his UAN number and password.

2. Now the employee has to click on Verify No Your Customer (KYC) and then click on the Manage tab.

3. The employee will have to go to the menubar and click on the online services and then select the claim. One has to choose from three types of forms (Forms 31, 19 and 10C) to select a claim.

The employee details will appear on the screen. Here the employee has to enter the last 4 digits of his bank account.

5. The employee will now have to click Yes or Certificate of Undertaking.

6. Now on claiming withdrawal online you will see three types of options.

7. The first option will appear on Form 19, in which you can only withdraw PF. This is the final settlement form. With this form the employee can withdraw the total amount of PF. The second option will be Form 10C. In this option the employee can withdraw only the pension amount. The third option will be of Form 31, in which option the employee can make a partial withdrawal.

8.EPFO will process the employee's PF claim by verifying the KYC details of the employee. This can take up to ten days. After acceptance, the money from PF will be transferred to the employee's bank account. The information should be sent to your register mobile number by SMS
